I'm Mike Hoftman, President and CEO of AMMI - American Medical Manufacturing Inc.

I have spent the last 20 years plus dealing with problems and solutions in the ever-changing Health Care Industry. I've seen the industry change from a cost plus to a fixed cost one, as it is moving forward to managed care systems at a rapid pace. I've worked in major corporations in key positions before I started my own company in 1991.

I have seen the industry take health care related problems from practitioners, market the solutions and not provide any remuneration to these practitioners. I started my company on the premise that I will reward those who bring problems to our attention.

I believe this is a win-win situation and no one is better suited to bring the problems to us than the practitioner. It will lead to a new and innovative product.
